Senior Electrical Engineer - Hotel/pax for cruise ship

7ocean People are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer within Electrical installation for highly interesting cruise project.

The job is located in middle of Norway, �.lesund area. This is a great oppertunity to be a part of a big maritime cluster.

The candidate shall work in team with engineers on newbuilding for hotel/pax part of cruise ships. The candidate will be particularly responsible for electrical installation in hotels and "public" areas. It is expected that the candidate is able to work out solutions that can be included as standard delivery from the client on such projects.

Job description

• Design and plan electrical installation in hotel area (Pax) on Cruise vessel projects
• Coordinate electrical installation engineering of hotel area
• Consult the shipyard and shipowner mhp solutions in public / hotel / pax
• Be an assistant within existing projects.

Softwares:

AutoCAD, FebDOK, MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master within Electrical Engineering
• Relevant experience from from hotel / apartment building (high house)
• Knowledge of class requirements and high standards within hotel/Pax (5 stars)
• Good coordination skills
• Forward - Used to make own decisions
• Ship experience not required
• English and Norwegian, written and oral is a high demand
